Azealia Banks hasn’t even dropped an official album yet, but she’s already done with rap. The 20-year-old pulled a “Nicki Minaj,” by using Twitter to prove that she means business.
As her career continues to pick up steam, Azealia Banks has cut ties with manager, Troy Carter—after only two months together. In April, the “Van Vogue” rapper announced that she was working with Carter, whose clients include Lady Gaga, but according to the New York Daily News, the business relationship is no longer.
Beef stirrer and Interscope/Polydor artist Azealia Banks has a four-track EP titled 1991 that’s out over in the UK but stateside fans will have to wait to cop it until tomorrow (May 29). But we do get a frisky single called “Van Vogue” from the project to check out in the meanwhile.
