Transvestite Prostitute Gets Life In Prison After Stealing Bras [Video]

A man that told authorities he stole over 100 bras to support his career as a transvestite prostitute was sentenced to life in prison.

Darnell Wilson was arrested after being caught stealing bras from a Kohl's clothing store in DeSoto County Mississippi.

Before being captured, the self described “transvestite prostitute” led police on a high speed chase, going 80 miles per hour in rush hour traffic before being stopped by authorities who used spiked strips to blow his tires.

The pseudo woman of the night was given three consecutive life sentences under the Mississippi habitual offender law which says that felony arrests in the state can be combined with felony arrests in other states to define the accused as habitual offenders.

Wilson was arrested 18 times in Tennessee and Mississippi for various charges including aggravated robbery, sexual battery and kidnapping.

life in prison for shoplifting? only in Mississippi (if you're black, that is).

  • Pantherbaby

That's sad someone getting a life sentence over some petty ish like stealing bras but why did he need so many? He must have been selling them or something.

  • im just sayin

the 2 people above me should actually read before commenting. he did more than just steal a few bras that led to his sentencing. that man should have been in jail a long time ago for all of the things they have listed.

  • Breanna Stewart

That's sad...they dont give murders life in prison but he gets the ax for stealing bras! WTF!

  • Can

Where the hell is the ACLU or Rainbow Push or Al Sharpton?!!!!

  • Souladdict

Can't this dude appeal this insane sentence? Or r mississipi laws THAT stringent that you get a freakin life sentence for STEALING BRAZIERS???!!!

  • creoleladee

I felt the same as u guys. Life for stealing bras is senseless! But if he did the other charges, then he needs to be locked up!

  • JustPeachy

ummm did anyone else notice he was arrested 18 times. obviously he likes being locked up or his ***** would have learned 17 times ago.

  • happy

He got life because he is a habitual offender. Probably caused a lot of problems in the area where he lives. I feel sorry for him. Perhaps something can be done on appeal, and he can possibly get the help he needs. His life seems miserable.

  • LANIE

ARE YOU NEGROS CRAZY WITH ALL HIS PRIORS ITS JUST A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE IT IS MURDER.....LOCK HIS ***** UP .........

  • Voice of Reason

he's not getting life in jail for stealing bras, can't you dumb *****s read? he's been arrested 18 times and has more then 3 felony convictions. He's admitting to working in an illegal profession. To top it all off, he's a wonky eyed tranny. The only thing wrong with all this, is that they didn't just shoot him on the side of the road and leave his body there to rot. This thing brings no benefit to the planet being alive.

  • Pantherbaby

@Voice of reason. Were not dumb were forgiving because anybody could make mistakes and life and turn there life around giving the opportunity but with life in jail there is no opportunity. I got an uncle who in his youth was into the street life the underworld pimping, drug dealing you name it he's done it after he did 10 years in Pelican Bay for shooting a cop he vowed he will never commit a crime again, he's been out since 2002 and has worked the lowest paying jobs got married he and his wife started a catering business and a janitorial service and there doing well. You think everybody who commits a crime need to be locked up and the key thrown away well what happens when they lock all these people up and we taxpayers are paying the state to house them feed them and medical costs for life?

  • Leethea Boisierre

The people here are not saying he shouldn't be locked up but for life? He didn't kill anybody.

  • Cat Eyes

I'm just wondering the people here who are so judgemental wow! I've done things in my youth that weren't very nice but damn people act like if you make a mistake you don't deserve any mercy.

  • Pantherbaby

I think were unestimating this guy he stole 100 bras who needs that many bras? He doesn't even have *****! I wouldn't be surprised if he was a drug dealer hiding his stash in bras! He was working as a prostitute it seems he was making money he shouldn't have to steal.

  • Leethea Boisierre

Some people just are anti social period they don't fit in society. As for the people who don't see why some feel sympathy for a life sentence well I know people personally who have done worse than this guy and the on the streets.

  • sev

WORTHLESS PEOPLE LIKE THAT SHOULD JUST BE EXECUTED LIFE IN JAIL IS TOO EXPENSIVE JUST OFF HIM

  • Pantherbaby

Man if I knew I was going to jail for life I would go out with a bang I'd rob a few banks, I'd kill people I don't like I would cause so much damage that the life sentence would be justified.

  • Shad

Yall are dumb....only criminals or people with criminal friends/family will feel sorry for him. Most states have a repeat offender law. Ever heard of 3 strikes?? Let him kidnap you to get ransom money for some bras and see how yall feel then.....

This sentencing is tragic because it reflects the problem with our judicial system: its disproportionate application. Yes, this man looks like someone many of us would prefer not to see on our streets. But consecutive life sentences for stealing bras is beyond harsh...its a misuse of our system. Yes, I realize that he had arrests in prior states for serious charges BUT the key word is arrests. Repeat offender laws are supposed to only be applied to conviction of crimes because arrests only mean just that arrests...it has not been proven that those crimes were committed. If we started labeling people felons simply because of an arrest there would be no point in the trial process, in attorneys in presenting our defenses in front a jury of our peers. This story is a sad reflection of a tragic American truth: when you are Black and poor America sees you as a disposable criminal.

  • Kierah

His crimes were in his recent past. This guy is a chronic offender who showed no signs of trying to turn his life around. He wasn't rehabilitated in any way.
If I were to face the judge of a minor offense, the judge would see that I have no prior arrests or convictions. He wouldn't see a mile long resume of crimes attached to my name. There is a big difference between the one-time offense and a career criminal.
