Kaisha Poulson, a  25-year-old Georgia woman, was charged with murder in the death of her son after it was dicovered her breast milk was laced with crystal meth.

An autopsy revealed that the 2-month infant named Jack died last March from methamphetamine poisoning.

“The mother was breastfeeding the child and passed the methamphetamine to the child resulting in the death of the child,” said Scott Israel of the Fayetteville Police Department.

Poulson  was arrested in June on charges of possessing gamma-hydroxybutyric acid and morphine.

Investigators had been waiting on the toxicology report from the state crime lab to determine if the mother’s drug use contributed to her infant’s death.

She was also charged with showing a 14-year-old relative how to use the drug oxycodone.
