Javaris Crittenton Waives First Court Appearance On Murder Charge

Javaris Crittenton made a living on one court but is ready for another court to decide his fate since he waived his first opportunity to appear before a judge.

Crittenton was wanted in Atlanta for the August 19 shooting of 22-year-old Julian Jones, hit by bullets allegedly intended for someone she knew.

Jones was walking with a group that included a male teen who police say Crittenton believed had robbed him of a diamond watch, diamond necklace and an iPhone, valued at more than $55,000, in April.

Crittenton arrived from Los Angeles, accompanied by officers of the Atlanta Police Department Fugitive Unit.

Crittenton is charged with homicide murder, felony murder and aggravated intent to murder.

The same guy that got into it with Gilbert Arenas for flashing guns in the locker room apparently isn't too sharp with his weapon if he did in fact do the shooting.

"He's innocent of the charges," attorney Brian Steel said after Crittenton's arrest.

A bond hearing is scheduled September 30th.
