ScHoolboy Q was in a giving mood at a Santa Ana, California show last night, where he performed an unheard song from his forthcoming debut Oxymoron. While its title has yet to be confirmed, the word “gangsta” is chanted repeatedly throughout the track.

“I low key want to play a song from Oxymoron,” said the Los Angeles MC, which most assumed was a cue for “Yay Yay.” ScHoolboy quickly dismissed those assumptions, and played a melodic groove with the potential to become a fan favorite.

The real Puffy paused the record midway through and said, “I don’t think y’all understand what I’m about to play y’all right now. Do y’all understand what that record is? Do y’all understand how hard that song is right there?” Let ScHoolboy tell it, the track was so nice that he had to play it twice.

Oxymoron doesn’t have an official release date yet, but the TDE rapper says the it will be a classic when it finally drops. “What I look like putting out a album that was alright after GKMC, and everybody done gave it these high rating? I’d look so stupid. I’m trying to kill my career right there, you know? So I’m just taking my time and making sure it’s right, which it is coming out right and it’s almost done.”
