Troy Ave, being one of a list of noteworthy Big Apple up-and-comers, took the liberty of releasing a potent track, affectionately titled “New York City.” Today, he returns with a proper visual for the gritty tune.

The Brooklyn rapper details what it’s like to be born and raised in the concrete jungle. He does this with the assistance of veteran MCs Raekwon and N.O.R.E., though Prodigy is nowhere to be found in the treatment.

All it took was a an all white background, the homies, and a few video vixens to make this video come to life. The posse cut will appear on Troy Ave’s New York City: The Album, due out November 4.

Until then, watch Troy Ave and company rhyme in the small screen adaptation for “New York City” below.
