It was a proverbial movie last night in Atlanta, as Nas took over Prive nightclub. Not alone, the Queensbridge lyricists enjoyed the night alongside local superstars Ludacris and Young Jeeezy, as well as Drake and a host of other notable figures.

In a few month’s time, music’s elite will gather at the 55th annual GRAMMY Awards. But prior to then, Grammys announced that a few sure-to-be nominees in Drake, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Robin Thicke, and Keith Urban will have headlining performances at “The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!!.”

While Drake is ducking shots from Kendrick Lamar, he is apparently hanging in the studio with his now former nemesis Chris Brown. 

Drake‘s new album delivered, at least commercially. The Toronto rapper’s third proper project, Nothing Was The Same, lands this week at no. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. 

If you’re under the impression that Drake has been living off the fat of the land since releasing Nothing Was The Same, you’re sadly mistaken. The Toronto MC is currently prepping to embark on the “Would You Like A Tour” alongside Miguel and Future, and released an interesting trailer as a reminder.

Drake and his hometown NBA franchise Toronto Raptors joined forces in a business partnership to overhaul the image of the Canadian basketball squad. On Monday (Sept 30) at the Air Canada Centre, Drizzy will join the executives of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment as a consultant to the struggling team.

Last Tuesday (Sept. 24) during “Drake Week,” the Toronto rapper stopped by the ALIFE store in New York City for a surprise show that included special guests Travi$ Scott and Raekwon. 

Drake allowed fans to put him in the hot seat during a Q&A session in the third and final installment of Elliott Wilson‘s CRWN discussion. Questions ranged from who’s the OVO rapper’s dream collaboration to what the lyrics on “Hold On, We’re Going Home” mean.

Drake season is officially here, as his new album Nothing Was The Same is officially in stores. With that in mind, it was only right for veteran journalist Elliott Wilson to sit with the OVO rapper for the latest installment of his CRWN series.

The long simmering, and occasional bottle throwing, beef between rapper Drake and singer Chris Brown has been squashed. Reportedly, the two artists linked up and settled their difference during this past weekend’s iHeart Radio Festival in Las Vegas. 

Drake fans will get their chance to show how much he means to them since the Toronto rapper’s new album, Nothing Was The Same, hits stores today (9/24). But really, Drake has been winning for a long time.
