During this past Sunday’s AFC Championship game between New England and Indianapolis, players from the Colts claimed the footballs used were no inflated to their capacity. A deflated football is easier to catch and throw, thus the trending topic “#DeflateGate” is now born.
The NFC Championship game turned violent when a fight resulted in an Atlanta Falcons fan being stabbed as a crowd left the Georgia Super Dome, Sunday (Jan. 20). According to witnesses, the victim was stabbed in the neck after punching a San Francisco 49ers fan, who in turn pulled out a knife.
Alicia Keys is said to be singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl next month, a source told the Associated Press. Speaking on the condition of anonymity the person revealed that the muli-Grammy winner will set things off ahead of Beyoncé, who’s billed for the halftime show.
