Mountain Dew, Ford, Miller Lite, SolFusion welcomed ONE MusicFest to the City of Atlanta on Thursday, July 21, 2011 during the “State of the Atlanta Music Scene” Press Conference and Roundtable.

As previously reported ONE MusicFest is an intimate indoor/outdoor music festival that will showcase performances from over a dozen artists including The Pharcyde, Anthony David and Foreign Exchange while Phife Dawg of a Tribe Called Quest plays host.

On Thursday ONE MusicFest was officially recognized with a Welcome letter from Mayor Kasim Reed presented by his Senior Communications Specialist, Justin Tanner at the ONE MusicFest “State of the Atlanta Music Scene.”

Saniyyah Griffin served as the panel moderator at the city’s Park Tavern while Dantes Rameau, from ONE MusicFest 2011’s official non-profit partner, The Atlanta Music Project came and discussed this year’s music instrument drive taking place at the festival.

ONE Musicfest featured artist and, panelist Anthony David also performed.

Panelists included Brittney King(CEO of New Heights Management & Consulting), Byron Wright(Director of Writer-Publisher Relations at BMI) ,Chad Radford (Creative Loafing),Dantes Rameau (Executive Director of Atlanta Music Project), Jason Carter (One MusicFest & SolFusion Founder), Jennifer Drake (Director of Rhythm & Soul at ASCAP),Miykal Snoddy (Music Producer Diddy Dirty Money – “Loving You No More,” Lupe Fiasco ft. Trey Songz – “Out of My Head”), Mo Reilley (On Air Personality), Ricardo Spicer (Label Marketing Rep at Universal Music Group/Island Def Jam), Richard Dunn (The Muddy Water Group), Moetown Lee (Westway Consulting, Management for 8 Ball & MJG, Robin Thicke & 50 Cent)

ONE Musicfest will take place August 27, 2011 at the same location.
