Talib Kweli and the artist formerly known as Mos Def are back as Black Star and they took their combined star power to Stephen Colbert’s The Colbert Report.
Yasiin Bey allowed Colbert to take the name Mos Def moniker for himself as he and Kweli sat with the satirical host and spoke about underground hip-hop, their lack of record label affiliation and they performed their new single, “Fix Up.”
