Taylor Gang frontman Wiz Khalifa is gearing up to release a new studio album entitled O.N.I.F.C. Wiz drew inspiration from both life experiences, as well as Prodigy‘s H.N.I.C. album, when it came to naming the project. In a portion of his interview on the Sway in the Morning show, Wiz divulged the meaning behind the album’s title.

“It stands for the

Only N-word In First Class, and it’s inspired by Prodigy’s H.N.I.C. When he dropped that, I felt that it just sounded so strong, and it really meant something…and it had the N-word in it, and I wanted to figure out somethin that was me too.”

While Wiz’s success has placed him among a new class of people, he still seems to encounter odd looks and responses from people, who may be unfamiliar with him. “It looks crazy to them, when I walk up with my ticket or I’m going to priority seating, and they’re like, you sure?”

Although the “Black & Yellow” rapper is still running into those who aren’t quite sure if he belongs among those in first class, Wiz has proven to be worthy of Hip-Hop’s first class of young MC’s. Be on the lookout for more music from the Pittsburgh artist, and listen to the full interview with Sway, below.
