When Cam’Ron and Mac Miller dropped ‘Dig That‘ a couple weeks back, rap fans collectively smirked before listening. But in these experimental times (Drake anyone?), Hip-Hop is capable of winning with left field ideas.

Now the Dip Set mainstay and the Pittsburgh newcomer are cooking up even more cuts to bob your head to. In an interview with XXL, the “Donald Trump” MC admitted to a Mac/Cam collaborative effort possibly being in the works. “We don’t know when we’re gonna do it,” said Mac. “We have three or four songs recorded already. We’re working on more at this point. We’re two funny guys. We cut up a lot in the studio, and have a good time and make some dope music.”

Mac also noted that he’s been learning a lot of necessary lessons from Cam while and that they plan on creating songs just as soul-filled as their first offering, as well as tracks that are a bit more rugged.

As long as these two can maintain what they were able to do on ‘Dig That,’ we probably will.
