The folks at XXL, specifically the homie and Executive Editor Jayson Rodriguez, chatted with Rozay about his health, juggling deals with Def Jam and Warner Bros., and of course, his forthcoming fifth solo album, God Forgives, I Don’t.

The issue also contains a stories on Jean Grae, Black Hippy & 2 Chainz and commemorations to the milestone anniversaries of classic albums  by Eric B. & Rakim (Paid In Full), Wu-Tang Clan (Wu-Tang Forever) as well as the catalog of Houston rap legend Scarface. The golden XXL logo is a nice touch. The July/August 2012 issue of XXL  his nationwide newsstands on July 14th. Check out the cover, featuring a suited up Ricky Rozay rocking plenty of jewelry, below.

For those keeping track, this is the “MC Hammer” rapper’s third time (peep the rest in the gallery) on the mag’s cover. Ruh!
