Tina Fey and Childish Gambino (known to the government as Donald Glover), have a lot in common: they’re both hilarious, they both have shows on NBC, and they’re both rappers— sort of. Fey, writer/creator/star of 30 Rock—can now add the latter to her career accolades, as the mother of two has snagged a feature on Gambino’s Royalty mixtape.
Fey appears on the album’s final track titled, “Real Estate,” which also features Alley Boy and Swank. Out the gate, the 42-year-old wants America to know that she means business. “Yeah, we in here, we in this thing/ Gambino is forever, royalty is forever,” she states. “We balling so we f-ckin’ up the hardwood homie, this is the life we live son/ My president is black and my Prius is blue muthaf-cka.”
But if you’re looking for Fey to pull a “Gwenyth Paltrow,” think again, because she’s smarter than that. “This is the part where most people would say something crazy and drop the n-word after it / Not going to. Not gonna do that. I Don’t feel comfortable!”
