Rick Ross’ fifth album, God Forgives, I Don’t, finally dropped yesterday (july 31st) and he continues to make his promotional rounds. His latest stop was at Power 105.1 the Breakfast Club and Rozay sat down for an extensive interview, answering all the questions hurled at them. Pay close attention and you’ll learn many interesting facts about the creation of the new album. For instance, it was the D.O.C. that introduced Dr. Dre to Rick Ross, who also neither confirmed nor denied that he ghostwrote Dre’s “3 Kings” verse. Also, the Bawse started eating more diced pineapples on his doctor’s orders.

But one of the more interesting bits was regarding his collaboration with Andre 3000, “Sixteen.”  “3 Stacks man, that’s a genius right there,” said Ross. “And his conversation man, and just the ideas he brought to the table. That’s him playing the banjo, that’s him doing the background vocals. He’s actually writing the treatment to the video. I think it’s going to be something super cool.”

Ross also fanned the flames of the Trina signing to Maybach Music Group rumors. “Not yet,” said Ross when asked if the Miami raptress was signed to MMG. “You never know, it’s a huge possibility.”
