R. Kelly has a lot of time on his hands. The R&B singer has penned a whopping 30 new chapters of his Trapped in the Closet series, and plans to close things out once he reaches 32.

Kellz wrote the 30 chapters over the past month, and told MTV News that he’s happy that there is still an interest in the story. “I’m so glad to know there are a lot of fans still waiting to find out what the package is, and I’m coming, you guys,” he said. “In four weeks I did 30 chapters of Trapped in the Closet. I’m proud of it. I’m very excited about it because it took on a life of its own. It took me over.”

The force that is Trapped in the Closet was apparently so strong that it took over the 45-year-old’s life. “It’s kind of pulling me,” he explained of the project which he compared to walking an overpowering dog.

In addition to his many chapters, Kelly will also release 22 videos to go with the story, later this year.

Back in 2005, Kelly introduced the first five chapters of Trapped in the Closet via his TP3 album. In the years since, he’s released four more albums, and the book Soulacoaster: The Diary of Me.
