Charles Hamilton is kind of like the Sebastian Telfair of Hip-Hop. For those who know Lopez, he was a can’t miss prospect when he first hit the scene back in 2005 and was as sure of a thing that there was in the game. The pink one was a talented rapper/producer out of New York landed on multiple magazine covers, had a nominal hit with “Brooklyn Girls” and even scored a million-dollar record deal with Interscope Records.

Dilla’s mom for allegedly saying her son produced his album, then there was this one-hitter quitter that seems to never get old. Nevertheless, Sonic is on the comeback trail and this video chronicles his road back with his show at S.O.B.’s on August 14th. Hit the jump and check it out.
