At the end of last month, Dwyane Wade’s shoe contract with Jordan Brand was up and the two parted ways. The NBA All-Star and two time champion quickly aligned with Chinese athletic brand Li-Ning, teasing a pic of his forthcoming shoe. Now we finally get a look at D. Wade’s new signature sneaker.
Black and white is the colorway seen here and it features patents leather, suede and a speckled midsole. It seems to lack the technological bells and whistles (Flywire, Zoom cushioning, etc.) of his Jordan Brand days but would you rock these? Safe bet that the check Li-Ning cut to make Wade jump the Jumpman’s ship must have been very, very nice. Baron Davis and Evan Turner are a couple of U.S. players that also endorse Li-Ning kicks.
