Natina Reed, baby mother of Kurupt, and member of the girl group Blaque has died, she was 32.

Reed was killed in a car accident, in Atlanta Friday (Oct. 26).

According to reports, she was crossing the street when she was hit by a car, just one day before her birthday. While the news has yet to be confirmed by her family, one of the members of Blaque tweeted about the tragic loss.


After speculation regarding the alleged death of Blaque’s Natina Reed went rampant on the Internet, fellow girl group member Shamari (Fears) DeVoe took to Twitter Saturday (Oct. 27) to confirm the news.


TMZ reported that the driver who hit Reed called 911 after the incident. Reed was pronounced dead 29 minutes later, at Gwinnett Medical Center. While the investigation is ongoing, authorities have concluded that the driver “was determined not to be at fault,” and currently faces no charges.

The mother to a 10-year-old son, Tren Brown, which she shared with Kurupt, was the rapping member of the group, which was discovered by Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, who also died in a car accident, but at the age of 30 .

Reed also appeared in the film Bring It On with Gabrielle Union, and on the show V.I.P. with Pamela Anderson.
