2 Chainz Wants To Complete 2nd Album By April 2013 [VIDEO]

2 Chainz is back at it. His Based On A T.R.U. Story debut dropped in August, but the G.O.O.D Music rapper is already in the process of recording album No. 2.

“I’m trying to turn in my album by April of next year,” he told MTV News. “It won’t come out then but I’m at least trying to turn it in and set up for more tours because we enjoy doing live shows, so be looking out for more of that from the crew.”

Clocking features from the likes of Kanye West, Drake, Nicki Minaj  his first time out the gate, as of now T*ty Two Necklace has only locked in one name on the guest list—but he’s still in the beginning stages. “I have three songs already recorded and I have one feature on the song. I don’t wanna put that out [yet]; you gotta wait, but it’s dope.”

In between recording new music and touring, the 36-year-old is gearing up to shoot the video for the single “I’m Different,” produced by DJ Mustard. “I wrote the treatment for that and I’m really excited to continue pushing the envelope and giving the fans something to see, some excitement again, really building that curiosity up with hip-hop again.”
