Murs took the honest approach on this quintessential ode to a fallen homie “Funeral For a Killer.” This isn’t your conventional homage to the deceased. The California MC explores both sides and remains critical of some of his friend’s imperfections, using vivid depictions to explain how is actions continue to effect loved ones in his wake.

Cite the bar about his wife and the woman he’d been cheating on her with both attending his funeral as proof. The visuals, directed by the creative collective Hobo Stew, feature Murs in the desert with rapping from the grave. Chilling material for sure. 9th Wonder-produced track, which will appear on Murs and 9th’s forthcoming project, The Final Adventure, releasing November 13.
