Uncle Sam always gets his dough, somehow someway. The state of Georgia is out to collect the million dollars it alleges that Nas owes in back taxes and plans to skim money off the MC’s earnings from the “Life Is Good/Black Rage” tour with Lauryn Hill.

TMZ reports that the Georgia Department of Revenue (GDR) has filed documents seeking to collect $1,083,435 the “You Owe Me” rapper (sorry, but that was too easy) owes in taxes from 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010.  The GDR has obtain an ordered that Live Nation, who are promoting the tour, garnish his wages until they get all their loot.

The Queensbridge rapper should be all too familiar with Georgia’s tactics. The state has already been garnishing his royalty checks. Earlier this year, it was reported that Nas owes a whopping $6 million to the federal government in back taxes.

According to Nas’ reps, this matter has been handled. But, the state of Georgia is clearly unconvinced.
