T.I. wants to help homeless veterans. The Kang is set to launch his campaign “Give Like A King” this Friday (Dec. 14), aimed at supporting vets, All Hip Hop reports.

In kicking off the philanthropic act, Tip will hold an hour-long press conference at the Veterans Empowerment Organization (VEO) office in Atlanta. He is expected to explain teaming with the VEO for the campaign, and his strategy in assisting the vets, while attempting to mobilize fans to get behind the cause. “We have to have someone else’s back, not just our own,” the father of six said in a statement.

According to their website, VEO works to honor those who served in the military. “When they have completed their service and made the often-painful sacrifice in defense of our freedoms and way of life, we believe it is our moral duty to continue to honor them for their service,” reads a statement on the site.

“Give Like A King” will hit various areas of media, including radio, television, and Internet spots, to spread the word.

In addition to “Give Like A King,” Tip is also prepping the release of his forthcoming album Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head due out next Tuesday (Dec. 18).
