Wale signs to Maybach Music with Rick Ross.
The ink has officially dried as the deal of Wale signing to Maybach music is complete.
Although he is still under management with Jay-Z‘s Roc Nation label, Wale revealed on Twitter that he has been officially signed with Rick Ross‘ Maybach Music Group.
However, Maybach is in a major bidding war between Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, Birdman’s Cash Money, Lyor Cohen‘s Warner Music Group and Jimmy Iovine‘s Interscope-Geffen-A&M.
Although he may not be sure which major label he will be part of, Wale is happy to sign with Ross and hopes to get into the studio soon. However, do you think this was a good move for the D.C. native?
