In an over saturated realm of Hip-Hop, it’s great to hear new MCs bring a fresh perspective to the game. Sosa, who hails from the City of Brotherly Love, did just that on his new track titled “Philly To the BX.” The song features Slaughterhouse’s lyrical tyrant Joell Ortiz, who spits filthy lines like “My Philly boys dead beef for cheddar/Don’t be a cheesesteak.” The co-produced beat can be credited to Las Vegas based producer Kajmirbeats and Philly’s own DJ Curt.

It takes a confident MC to give Ortiz an open invitation to spar on a track, but Sosa delivers some poignant bars of his own with, “Leave em with broke jaws and a couple of hurt feelings/We specialize in flash mobs and dope dealing.” “Philly To the BX” is just one of a few tracks that are garnering buzz for the Philly MC. If Sosa can continue delivering tracks like these, he should be a fixture in Hip-Hop soon enough.

Hop on the band wagon early and check out the track after the jump.
