A shooting at a Phoenix office complex struck three, and  wounded at least five people Wednesday (Jan. 30) morning.

Details behind the incident are scarce but according to USA Today at around 10: 30 a.m. officials reported the number of victims wounded.

The building is located on the 7300 block of 16th street near Glendale Ave. Police have closed off a nearby Chevron station, causing massive traffic jams in the area.

From the New York Daily News:

Officer James Holmes says the victims were taken to hospitals. He didn’t know if their injuries are life threatening.

Holmes says police so far believe there was only one shooter but don’t know his whereabouts.

He says police were given conflicting information about the suspect leaving the scene.

There were reportedly upwards of 45 police units, and seven or eight fire trucks on the scene.

It is unclear whether or not the shooter has been taken into custody, or the motive behind this latest act of gun violence.
