Although Pusha T, Hit-Boy and Common have all said that Cruel Winter has been scrapped, Travis $cott maintains that the second G.O.O.D. Music collaboration album is on the way.

The Texan producer/rapper revealed to DJ Semtex in a recent interview that the upcoming single will be called “I Got Bands.”

“I Got Bands” is like, the s**t! I love that f**king song man. You know, it’s the first single off of Cruel Winter and my tape Owl Pharaoh, man,” says and excited $cott. “Hopefully we get that feature on there and it’s just like, ‘Boom, we outta here! Kanye [West] seen the vision for that s**t, we just supplied it and we made it happen.”

The United Kingdom DJ happened to get a listen to the single and offered his thoughts about the alleged Cruel Winter single.

“From what he played me, his debut E.P. Owl Pharoah is sounding pretty epic,” says Semtex. “His potent Cruel Winter club banger, ‘I Got Bands’ is going to do what the ‘Mercy’ and the ‘I Dont like’ Remix did to the airwaves and internets last year.”

Owl Pharoah is scheduled to drop on February 21st. Hit the jump to check out the full interview with $cott, including how he went from homeless to working with Mr. West.
