We’ve seen a lot more production than rhymes from Chuck Inglish in recent months, but the Cool Kid returns to the pen and pad on his latest offering “Back Up (Remix).” With G.O.O.D. Music’s own Travi$ Scott by his side, the producer/rapper kicks verses layered with his patented choppy wordplay and witty metaphors.

Scott returns the favor for Inglish’s appearance on “P***y,” which also featured Gunplay and Fredo Santana, by contributing a melodic 16 bars to the track. At times, the young MC Production wise, the cut stays very true to the Chicago-based rapper’s cannon of synth-heavy loops and hard hitting drums.

“Back Up” is the first of many songs fans can expect to see on Inglish’s forthcoming project Convertibles, set to release some time this year. Considering some of the relationships the “Back Up” rapper has, the LP is likely to don many more quality features.

Hear Chuck Inglish and Travi$ Scott do their thing on the “Back Up” remix below.
