A Florida teen ended a birthday date on a very sour note, when he allegedly carjacked the woman he was out with.
How awkward.
Donald Bernard McGee Jr. is accused of jacking Nemeha Millen, on her 21st birthday. The two met and exchanged text messages and photos, before agreeing to go out on a date last Friday (April 19).
The date went south at about 10 p.m.
According to Millen, she and McGee, 19, walked through the Boynton Ocean Inlet Park, ending the night in a Wendy’s parking lot, where the youngster was to get picked up by his brother. The teen pulled out a gun and demanded Millen out of the vehicle. “I grabbed my purse and then he fought me for my purse with a gun,” she told a local news station. “He pointed it at my face.”
While he was getting away, McGee flagged down a Good Samaritan who gave her a ride, and helped chase down the 2000 Honda Civic. Police entered into the pursuit, and the teen eventually lost control of the car– but not before trying to run to freedom.
Once caught, McGee accused Millen of being the thief, saying she pulled a gun out and carjacked him.
He was arrested and booked into Palm Beach County Jail. He facies several charges, including carjacking and driving without a valid license.
McGee is being held in lieu of $15,000 bail.
