After just released its CDQ version, Earl Sweatshirt hit Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Friday night to perform “Burgundy.” 

The Odd Future MC made a dramatic entrance; a camera followed from the rear as he walked from the back of the studio to the stage as the Roots handled recreating the Pharrell Williams produced instrumental. Vince Staples wasn’t around for the ad libs, but Earl ably kicked the song’s introspective bars.

Earl Sweatshirt’s highly anticipated debut album, Doris, is in stores August 20. Watch his performance on  Late Night With Jimmy Fallon below.
