As Kendrick Lamar continues to flourish and their next up, ScHoolboy Q, works to do the same, Top Dawg Entertainment announces their latest acquisition in Isaiah Rashad.
“With the approval of my team & y’all I jus made @isaiahrashad TDE’s newest member… Welcome him 2 #HiiiPower,” tweeted CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith. And just like that, the Chattanooga, Tenn. native joins the fold of one of Hip-Hop’s dominant crews.
In June, Rashad was rumored to be affiliated with the West Coast-based label. His confirmed signing is TDE’s second of the summer, following a newly inked contract with captivating songstress SZA.
To commemorate the occasion, the 21-year-old rapper debuts a visual for “I Shot You Down,” a track debuted earlier this week. APLUSFILMZ directed the treatment, which can be seen below.
