A few days back, a photo surfaced of Chance The Rapper, Mike WiLL Made It, and Skrillex working in the studio. What’s to become of that session is yet to be seen, but Skrillex did play a song featuring the Chicago MC at a recent show in New York City.

Brooklyn was the locale for the renowned DJ to play the upbeat collaboration. The crowd genuinely gravitated towards the track, which takes cues from the late, great Notorious B.I.G. with the line, “Tell me what here interests are. Who you be with?” Chance can be heard doing more harmonizing that straight spitting on the record.

Fans of the XXL Freshman shoe-in will be familiar with this style from his 2013 mixtape, Acid Rap.

“Whether [the records] come out tomorrow or a year from now, there’s definitely a lot of bullets in the chamber… There’s a lot of cool shit in the making right now,” Skrillex explained to XXL when asked about the nature of collaborations with his aforementioned peers.

Tune into the first of what Skrillex says is more to come below.
