Don’t be surprised if Wiz Khalifa’s leading Blacc Hollywood single, “We Dem Boyz,” is a slow burner that steadily rises the charts. YMCMB’s Tyga seems to agree, as he added a verse to an unofficial remix for your listening pleasure.
These days, there lines are blurred between freestyles and remixes. T-Raw’s version falls under the former by our standards, as Wiz’s emphatic chorus chants, “Hold up, we dem boyz,” still sets off the Detail-produced cut. The only different from this and the original is a verse the West Coast rapper placed in between the Taylor Gang founder’s two 16s.
