Snoop Dogg could run a class on how to stay relevant in Hip-Hop. Following his spiritual journey as Snoop Lion and a funk reincarnation he coined Snoopzilla, the Long Beach legend takes fans back to his roots on the That’s My Work Vol. 3 mixtape.
Uncle Snoop connected with “Mr. Thanksgiving,” DJ Drama, to craft a Gangsta Grillz that’s as street oriented as it’s laden with G-Funk goodness. Fans received a sampling of what to expect via a smooth, Madlib-produced track titled “Cadillacs.”
The third installment of the mixtape series holds 20 songs and features ample guest appearances from Snoop’s longtime partners in rhyme Daz Dillinger and Kurupt. Additional guests include Warren G, Tee Fly, Kokane, and more. And just so you know, producers like Scott Storch, Mr. Porter, Nottz, 1500 Or Nothin, and Rick Rock contributed to this project.
