The Indiana Pacers’s championship dreams would be easier to attain if their starting center Roy Hibbert could get his act together. Last night (May 6), the seven-footer’s zero points and zero rebounds in 18 minutes of play against the Washington Wizards was the talk of the town and a vessel of slander for former NBA superstar Gilbert Arenas.
Considering that this was Hibbert’s eighth consecutive abysmal game, the Washington Wizard’s one-time first option had a lot of ammo. Arenas, who’s had his own issues, posted a bevy of comedic messages critiquing the NBA All-Star’s performance. “No wonder u can drink a Gatorade in 4seconds that’s the only thing ur good at,” read a portion of one caption. And that was on the milder side of things compared to what followed.
Whether you’re a basketball fan or not, Gilbert Arenas’ comments will inspire a laugh or two. See them after the jump.
