Lil Wayne hasn’t divulged much information about the highly anticipated Tha Carter V LP, nor has he truly discussed his upcoming “Drake Vs. Lil Wayne” tour. Luckily, MTV got the rapper to discuss both in one fell swoop…. sort of.
Tunechi usually makes all sorts of ambiguous statements whenever discussing either project and it feels like not even he knows all the details. But this time, he gives some clarity.
“Cortez came up with that,” Wayne said referencing his manager Cortez Bryant, who presented him with the idea to tour alongside his YMCMB artist. According to the New Orleans native, the duo will battle it out on stage with their respective catalogs of hit records.
Wayne also revealed that both Drake and Nicki Minaj will appear on Tha Carter V, and that he has a guest features on the latter’s up album, The Pink Print.
