It’s a safe bet that Red Café linked up with Diddy and Bay Boy Records to speed up the release of his proper album. That hasn’t been the case, but the Brooklyn rapper has dropped some new music in the form of the American Psycho mixtape.

Originally scheduled to drop in October, Cafe was touting the project to Hip-Hop Wired at the BET Hip Hop Awards. “It’s like an album, it’s all original music,” he explained on the red carpet. “It’s going to translate into the actual album”

The Shake Down rapper lands guest features from Chief Keef, The Game, 2 Chainz and Fabolous and more over the project’s 12 tracks. Beats are handled by notables including Young Chop, DJ Mustard and Reefa. Also, his fellow Bad Boy brethren French Montana and Los also make appearances.

Red Café dropped the Hell’s Kitchen mixtape way back in January 2012. As for his proper album, titled ShakeDown, it’s now set for a 2013 release via Bay Boy/Interscope. Download the American Psycho mixtape below.
