Despite tragedy, A$AP Ferg is pressing on and honoring his late homie A$AP Yams while doing so. The Harlem rapper was in Washington, DC on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and participated in the VH1 Save The Music’s MLK Day of Service event.
Ferg linked up with DC volunteers at the Eliot-Hine middle school where VH1 Save The Music partnered with City Year to spruce up a classroom, in this case the school’s music room.
A wall mural was completed and Ferg shared with the assembled volunteers that he actually attended art school in NYC.
Find out more about VH1 Save The Music right here. Check out photos from the day in the following pages.
Major props to Ferg for giving back to the community. Rest In Power A$AP Yams.
