This current week definitely hasn’t been a lovely-dovey one for the Hip-Hop community (Drake/Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj/Taylor Swift, Ghostface & Azealia Banks/Action Bronson).

But outside of Twitter, the R&B world didn’t fare much better. Grammy Award-winning soul singer Anthony Hamilton and Tarshá McMillan-Hamilton, his wife of 10 years are calling quits on their marriage.

“Tarshá and Anthony’s greatest priorities are loving and raising their three children and are committed to co-parenting together,” a representative for Tarshá relayed in a statement to Madame Noire. The couple maintains the split is amicable and will still collaborate on musical projects, including Tarshà’s debut album, Sounds Like Tarshá, which is slated to released on Pennie Bank Productions. In 2010, the Hamiltons welcomed twin boys into the world and another one in 2012.

If a decade of marriage sounds like a lot of time invested, try telling that to famed singer Kelly Price and her husband Jeffrey Rolle, who are hanging it up after 23 years of matrimony. According to a statement obtained by Philly.com, they simply “grew apart.”

“After the untimely death of my sister last year, it weighed on me heavily that this was something we needed to do. I ultimately made the decision to live the best life I can. I ended things because I didn’t want to compromise what true happiness was anymore. There are no hard feelings and I will love Jeff until the day I die!,” Price said. The couple have two children together, Jonia and Jeffrey Jr.

Since we are already here, it’s worth mentioning that country music stars Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert also threw in the towel on their four-year wedding vows. They say death comes in threes, right?
