The man who murdered a Virginia reporter and photographer this morning has been identified as Vester Lee Flanagan. Sickeningly, he filmed his crime and uploaded the footage to Twitter.

Reports the Washington Post:

The suspect has been identified as Vester Lee Flanagan, 41, according to Jean Sepulveda, the office manager of the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office. She said he was in a 2009 silver or grey Ford Mustang the a Virginia license plate. Sepulveda said that the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.

The footage was seen under handle @bryce_williams7, which was quickly suspended. Reportedly, Flanagan worked in journalism under the name Bryce Williams and was an employee of WDBJ7, same as his victims.

Per WHSV, Flanagan is described as a “light-skinned black man who is 6-feet-3-inches tall and weighs about 250 pounds”

In one of the now deleted clips (it can be still be seen on the flip) viewers can see the gunman pointing his firearm at his victims while they were conducting a live broadcast. In the other, the shooting is filmed.

UPDATE: Police report Flanagan himself while he was driving his car. At the moment, there are conflicting reports whether he is dead or alive.
