Young Thug has an undeniable fan base, but we gotta think they guy is a troll with the whole wearing women’s dresses despite getting engaged to a woman (they’re back together) thing. But to hear Thugger say it, it’s all about the proper fit.
GQ spoke to the “Danny Glover” rapper in its October 2015 issue and one fascinating point was the rationale behind his shopping in the women’s department.
“Because women’s clothes are [slimmer] than men’s clothes,” said Young Thug when bluntly asked why he wears women’s clothes.”The jeans I got on right now, they’re women’s jeans. But they fit how they’re supposed to fit. Like a rock star.”
He adds, “The only thing I probably have in men’s is like briefs. T-shirts. Ninety percent of my clothes are women’s.”
Umm, but just about every denim brand makes a slim fit, though. Or, what about hollering at a tailor? Just saying.
