Once upon a time, T.I. and Pink were label mates on the now defunct LaFace Records. Close to a decade later, the two reunite for “Guns And Roses.”

Pink channel’s her early R&B roots in this song as she ditches the edgy rock star sound in favor of her more soulful side which initially brought her to prominence under the tutelage of L.A. Reid.

This song features T.I. being brutally honest about his love life with his wife and mother of his children, Tiny. He doesn’t shy away from the controversy between the two and addresses them head on, as he does for most of his eighth studio album, Troubleman: Heavy Is The Head.

Pink, whose also had her share of public relationships especially with motocross star Carey Hart, sings “Should have known it from the start it was already over. We were just too dumb to notice and we’d pray but even love couldn’t save us. We’d wake up on a bed of guns and roses.”

Heavy stuff. Get a listen to the song down below and don’t forget to pre-order T.I.’s eighth album, Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head , hitting stores this Tuesday.
