2012 was a big year for up-and-coming rapper/producer, Travi$ Scott, and he’s looking to capitalize on that success in the new year.

Scott recently took to his Instagram page to announce the release date of his upcoming and long-awaited EP, Owl Pharoah.  The artwork comes courtesy of Jacob Rochester and was placed in fancy, spancy GIF form.

Scott recently broke out in the past year after standout performances on the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album, Cruel Summer. He produced and appeared as an artist on the song “Sin City” featuring John Legend, Teyana Taylor, Malik Yusef, & CyHi The Prynce.

He also produced “The Morning” featuring Kanye West, Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Raekwon, Kid Cudi, D’Banj and Common.  The Owl Pharoah EP is scheduled to drop on February 22nd.

Scott also made some appearances on Meek Mill’s Dreamchasers 2 mixtape as well as Audio Push’s Inland Empire mixtape, as well as directing Hit-Boy’s latest video for “Brake Lights” as wel. Scott famously and hilariously revealed he was signed to G.O.O.D. Music in this silly question and answer game with Jeff and Eric Rosenthal of ItsThaReal.

Check out the artwork after the jump.
