Rockie Fresh drops his long-awaited mixtape called Electric Highway, his first effort as an artist on Maybach Music Group.

Rick Ross’ latest and undoubtedly the most unique artist under his label, hails from the rising Hip-Hop hub of Chicago and taps his boss to appear on the mixtape along with Curren$y, Sasha Go Hard, Nipsey Hussle and Lunice.

Fresh gets a ton of production help from “The Gift” along with Big Jerm, Boi-1da, Quincey Tones and more. The project is hosted by DJ Ill Will and consists of seventeen tracks.

The 21-year-old held a listening session for the project in New York City this past week in a movie theater that was a laser light show and a 3D movie experience. Rockie Fresh is not your typical MMG artist. As Ross has a pulse on the streets with artists like Meek Mill, Wale and Gunplay; Fresh is a change of pace artist who is more alternative than your average Hip-Hop cat.
