Former WNBA star Chamique Holdsclaw’s struggle just got realer. The Queens, NY native has been indicted by a grand jury in Atlanta on various charges stemming from a shooting incident with her ex-girlfriend last November.

USA Today reports:

Holdsclaw, 35, faces two counts of aggravated assault, one count of criminal damage in the first degree, two counts of criminal damage in the second degree and one count of possession of a firearm in commission of a felony.

A warrant was issued for her arrest following a violent altercation on Nov. 13 with Jennifer Lacy, her ex-girlfriend. According to police, Holdsclaw fired a pistol into a vehicle while Lacy was in it.

Holdsclaw turned herself in three days later and was released on $100,000 bond.

Last November,  Holdsclaw, , who has battled depression, bashed in the window’s of Lacy’s Range Rover with a baseball that and then pulled out a handgun and shot into the car. Lacy, who currently plays for the WNBA’s Tulsa Shock, was still in the car when Holdsclaw shot into the rear seat but was otherwise unharmed.

A prep star in NYC, Holdsclaw played college ball at the University of Tennessee where she won three NCAA national championships. While in the NBA she was named to the all-star team six times before retiring in 2010.
