Meek Mill was in Philadelphia court last Friday (March 15) tending to a matter that could land him back in jail. The Maybach Music Group artist and his probation officer are at odds over the rapper’s spontaneous touring schedule as it may be a violation of his five-year parole agreement.

Philadelphia probation officer Treas Underwood and Assistant District Attorney Noel A. DeSantis told Common Pleas Court Judge Genece E. Brinkley in a two-hour hearing that Mill (born Robert Williams) left the state of Pennsylvania without alerting officials of his travel plans and location,  reports the Philadelphia Inquirer. Mill tried to explain that he doesn’t intentionally keep his plans a secret as he’s often in the dark himself. “The problem is that I don’t know,” Mill said. “It changes every day.”

“But you’re supposed to call me,” Underwood responded as Gary Silver, Mill’s attorney, DeSantis, Underwood and Williams bickered among each other. Judge Brinkley told the warring groups that they will have to “work it out” as Silver requested a new probation officer for his client.  Judge Brinkley denied the request, who reports said appeared agitated and was battling a cold.

Mill claims Underwood is being tough on him because they grew up in the same North Philadelphia neighborhood. “It’s a game with my life,” said Mill of Underwood’s handling of his probation. Mill is on probation after a 2008 drug and gun conviction, and was sentenced to 11 to 23 months in prison. He served eight months in prison before beginning his probation in the fall of 2009.
