Music producer Willie Mitchell died Tuesday at the age of 81 from cardiac arrest.
The Memphis producer is noted for owning Royal Studios as well as his landmark success with his hits from Al Green including “Love And Happiness”, “I’m Still in Love With You,” “Let’s Stay Together” and “Call Me.”
He is also noted for his work with Ann Peebeles including “I Can’t Stand the Rain” sampled by Missy Elliot in 1997.
