Nick Cannon has been named the 2013 All-Star for ADCOLOR, a charity celebrating diversity in media related industries. Cannon will be honored during the Awards and Industry Conference in Beverly Hills, CA this September.

Being recognized places the San Diego native in a class with previous winners, Ervin “Magic” Johnson, Queen Latifah, Russell Simmons, George Lopez, and Boris Kodjoe.

“I am so honored that ADCOLOR has chosen me for this year’s All-Star award.  I am humbled to join the company of the honorees of years past who I admire and to be a part of this special annual event,” Cannon said in a statement.

The 32-year-old was selected for his various achievements across the entertainment board, and his charitable endeavors.

He will receive the honor alongside 21 individuals and companies within the advertising, marketing, media, PR, and entertainment industries.

The ADCOLOR Awards and Industry Conference is set for September 19- 21st at the The Beverly Hilton.
