California is churning out a class of up and coming MCs. Among them is Long Beach native Joey Fatts, who is looking to create a stir with his latest drop “Choppa,” featuring two of Hip-Hop’s former diaper dandies in A$AP Rocky and Danny Brown.

Fatts exchanges bars with that PMF, while the snaggletoothed “Kush Coma” rapper embraces the role of hook-man on its energetic chorus that exclaims “Choppa-Choppa bang shots/Baggin’ b–ches off your walk,” and chants “gimme what you got” repeatedly. A verse from the Detroit spitter would have been appreciated, though.

The track itself knocks due to the hard hitting drums and trap accoutrements courtesy of production duo 808 Mafia, comprised of accomplished beatsmiths Lex Luger and Southside.

“Choppa” will appear on Fatts’ forthcoming project Chipper Jones Volume 2, which is coming soon via A$AP Yams’ imprint Yamborghini Records. Stream the first sampling from the tape below.
