Eve drops a video for “EVE,” featuring Miss Kitty, off her forthcoming new album Lip Lock.
In the clip, the MC born Eve Jihan Jeffers throws rhymes at the camera that big up her accomplishments. “I’m a Philly born bred raised never left my bones, I’m a bossy glossy mogul and worldwide my name is known,” she spits over the track’s bombastic production. It’s a safe bet Hip-Hop heads like this cut better than that “Make It Out This Town,” featuring Gabe Saporta,” joint she dropped.
It’s been a long eleven years since the Philadelphia native’s last proper album, Eve-O-Lution. Her long in the works fourth studio album, Lip Lock, is due in stores May 14 and will feature appearances from Snoop Dogg, Pusha T and Missy Elliott, along with production from the Neptunes and Swizz Beatz.
